Fork N Flower is located on the Bellarine Hwy, next door to the Geelong Flower Farm and offers both indoor and outdoor seating, each in its own unique setting. The two outdoor areas are both fully enclosed and have heating available.
The concept behind the design of the Café was to create a memorable space that emphasised the fun & friendly team at the Fork N Flower.
Once welcomed inside, you’ll almost be blinded by the unforgettable yellow walls that help us stand out in a sea of other amazing cafes over Geelong & The Bellarine. The team at the Geelong Flower Farm helped add a touch of life indoors with plants in pots, hanging overhead, crawling up walls, on tables and even in an up-cycled gumball machine turned terrarium!
The walls showcase prints from Carmen Hui that will be sure to bring back feelings of nostalgia with things like Vegemite, Peanut Butter & Milo drawn in a playful Australiana twist. All her artworks are inspired by fond memories of home and are hand drawn with coloured pencils. A once empty corner now lined with shelves to help create the Book Swap Library where you’re welcomed to bring a pre-loved book & find a new one to take with you. All books featured in the library have been donated by the wonderful community to help this project come to life.
The outdoor space, again with the help of the team at Geelong Flower Farm who added an array of pots, hanging plants and a vertical garden using up-cycled pallets thanks to Emma from @rusticplanterpallets. You’ll also find fairies, birds, gnomes, butterflies and more hiding amongst the pots or hanging on the walls - it’s a fun game of “find the…” that everyone can enjoy.
